- Wireless Chip: Dual-band 802.11 b/g/n/ac wireless LAN for faster networking with less interference.
- Dual-Band Wireless: Operates on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies with new PCB antenna technology for better reception.
- Bluetooth 5.0: Enhanced range and reliability for wireless keyboards/trackpads without extra dongles.
Enhanced Ethernet Connectivity:
- Networking: USB 3.0 technology provides significantly faster-wired networking thanks to an upgraded USB/LAN chip, offering speeds 10x faster than previous models.
- GPIO Header: 40-pin header remains fully backward-compatible with previous boards. The new PoE header pins may contact components on the underside of some HATs, like Rainbow HAT, but using standoffs will prevent any issues.
